In the pursuit if his scientific experiments and validating his work, Dr. Jekyll claims ââ¬Å"man is not truly one, but truly twoâ⬠therefore according to Dr. Jekyllââ¬â¢s opinion, every soul contains elements of both good and evil but is evil inside of him. As a highly respected member of the society and also an honorable Victorian gentleman, Dr. Jekyll cannot fulfill his evil desires.
